The Mellow Moose

The living room is the focal point of our townhome: a bright, inviting, and relaxing space that looks out onto a beautiful backyard. Huge picture windows frame a beautiful mountainside covered in evergreens and aspens.

The canvas changes with the seasons: in summer and spring, we are treated to lush greenery as moose, marmots, and deer wander down and gaze back at us. In the fall, we see an ever-changing canvas of yellowing aspens quaking among the firs. Winter brings lots and lots and lots of snow as a peaceful quiet descends on our deck.

Meals are a time for friends, family, and loved ones to gather around the table and share good stories and great food. Reflecting that sentiment, our dining room is an extension of both the kitchen and the living room, an open space where groups large and small can sit together and enjoy enjoy each other's company over a homemade meal.

Eight people can sit around the table, and another four can sit in high-top chairs at the adjacent bar.

The kitchen is modern, spacious, and uncluttered, with an open layout so that you can cook while still being part of the action in the great room. There is even room for a impromptu bar or serving area next the the dining room table.

High-end features such as beautiful granite countertops, double convection ovens, a french-door refrigerator, and a super quiet dishwasher make the kitchen very functional. You'll have access to quality cookware, place settings, and cooking implements, as well as common staples such as sugar, flour, spices, and paper goods.

We offer both a drip coffee machine as well as a top of the line Keurig machine. K-cups, sweetener, and to-go cups are also provided.

The master bedroom is very roomy, with vaulted ceilings and a large interior window looking down into the living room, allowing borrowed light from the picture windows to pour in. But there is no need to worry about privacy or too much light, though because solid-wood sliding shutters easily block any light or noise from below.

The king-sized bed has a "W Hotel" mattress and very comfortable sheets, as well as a variety of blankets and pillows. The bed is flanked by side tables with reading lamps and a double alarm clock that can charge your phone and display the indoor/outdoor temperature.

The walk-in closet is big enough for a toddler bed or pack-n-ply (included) and there is plenty of storage, including a tall dresser and wide TV cabinet. The TV cabinet has a flat screen HDTV and Bluray DVD player.

The upstairs suite has a king-size "W Hotel" bed with comfortable sheets, a variety of pillows, and several options for blankets. There is also a matching daybed which has a pop-up trundle that can be converted into another king bed! 

Vaulted ceilings and large windows bring in lots of light and provide fantastic views. There are also blackout shades for all the windows (including the arched window on top).

This suite has its own bathroom and feels set apart from the rest of the house, allowing more privacy.  There is also plenty of room and storage, including built-in drawer space in the bed as well as a walk-in closet.  The closet has a variety of books and toys for children.

The downstairs suite has a king-size "W Hotel" bed with comfortable sheets, a variety of pillows, and several options for blankets. Like the upstairs suite, it also has a matching daybed with a pop-up trundle. 

There are fantastic views and blackout shades and a large flat screen HDTV with cable and a Wii U game console.

Perhaps the best part of Park City living is the great outdoors, and here we immersed in it. Step out from the great room on to a beautiful, exotic hardwood deck with several chairs, a gas grill, and large, private hot tub.

The neighbors are barely visible from our unit, even when you are out on the deck. You are surrounded by trees and local wildlife and can luxuriate in almost complete privacy.
